EA - STOP BLANKETWEED

The Background:
Evolution Aqua is a leading innovator in aquatic solutions, known for high-quality products that improve water quality. One of their flagship products, Stop Blanketweed, controls and prevents blanketweed growth in ponds, promoting clear water and a healthy aquatic ecosystem.

The Challenge:
Despite the effectiveness and popularity of Stop Blanketweed, the product's performance on Amazon needed improvement. The listing faced several challenges, including limited visibility in search results, under-optimised keywords, and outdated graphics that did not effectively communicate the product's benefits. Additionally, competitors were far ahead, making it crucial to refine the listing to gain the attention and sales this excellent product deserves.​

My Solution:

Through PWR Tek, I provided a comprehensive strategy to address these challenges and elevate the product's Amazon performance. My approach included:

  1. Market Research I conducted in-depth market research to understand consumer behaviour, identify trending search terms, and analyse purchasing patterns. This data formed the foundation for my optimisation strategy.

  2. Competitor Insights A thorough competitor analysis was performed to evaluate how rival products were positioned. I identified gaps in their listings and leveraged these insights to differentiate Stop Blanketweed by highlighting its unique selling points.

  3. Keyword Optimisation I optimised the product's title, bullet points, and description using high-performing, relevant keywords. This ensured better alignment with customer searches and improved the listing's organic ranking on Amazon.

  4. Graphic Creation To enhance the listing's visual appeal, I designed new, high-quality graphics that clearly conveyed the product’s benefits. These included informative infographics showcasing how Stop Blanketweed works, its key features, and its ease of use

Next Steps

To build on the momentum of these improvements, the following steps will be:

  • A+ Content - A+ Content will provide another form of keyword optimisation and one that is indexed differently to titles, bullet points, and descriptions. Furthermore, I have designed templates that are great for portraying information with pictures and easy-to-read text.

  • Monitor Performance Metrics - Continuously track key performance indicators, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and customer reviews, to ensure sustained growth and identify areas for further refinement.

  • A/B Testing - Implement A/B testing for headlines, images, and descriptions to determine what resonates most with customers and further optimise the listing.

  • Expanded Advertising - Leverage Amazon PPC campaigns to increase visibility and drive traffic to the listing, focusing on high-performing keywords and targeting specific customer segments.

  • By implementing these strategies, Stop Blanketweed’s listing will continue to thrive, ensuring Evolution Aqua remains a leader in the aquatic solutions market.
